The SEM image shows of a geranium (wild purple cranesbill) pollen grain. The sample was prepared using the Quorum PP3010 Cryo Preparation System. The sample was cryo-immobilised in Slush nitrogen at -207 °C, fractured at -140 °C, and sputtered with Iridium (1 nm).
