Quorum donates fume hood to the university of Sussex

As part of Quorum Technologies' commitment to sustainability, we are delighted to donate a fumehood to the University of Sussex School of Life Sciences to support their research. The fumehood will be utilised by two research groups at the university for the safe handling of solvents and other potentially hazardous chemicals during their purification processes.

Dr. Storm Hassel-Hart, Lecturer in Chemistry, and his team will focus on two key areas: developing novel methods to synthesise small medicinally relevant heterocycles and exploring the use of affordable robotics in drug discovery.

Dr. Deborah Sneddon, Lecturer in Chemistry, and her group will be advancing research into the design and development of new imaging agents based on f-block elements.

Our collaboration with the University of Sussex is driven by a shared commitment to advancing scientific research and discovery. Together, we aim to push the boundaries of innovation, contribute to meaningful breakthroughs, and address some of the most pressing challenges facing the world today.
